Just purchased this record on Klakson. Put together some new shelves to move records out of storage and found some old electro/disco/italo records from 2003-2006, think Solvent, lowfish, etcl. Went to the record store and they had this in stock, needless to say it is good
Textbook new Balearic but it hits all the right spots and sounds great in this epic summer we’re having atm

oh yeah, bought this a while back and it finally arrived. ordered it so long ago i completely forgot about it. love it when that happens - but receiving this one in the mail will make you a little wistful.
i don’t know what all those discogs buttholes are going on about, my copy sounds pretty nice.
edit: there’s some noise but i do not caaaare and if i wanted a copy free of any surface noise i would have bought a CD.

This was the cheapest I’ve seen at $69. Over my usual $50 max but I figured I could t leave it there.
I’ve never really had buyers remorse (if you overpay or whatever you can always move them on), but the ones you leave behind in the racks can bug you for years…

Sly Dunbar’s Sly-Go-Ville for just a few bucks.
A bit criminal I hadn’t listened to this before, really. Standout tracks for me have to be the cover of Gaye’s “Inner City Blues”, and Dunbar’s own “If You Want It” – freaky vocoder business!

Thank you. That track If You Want It was on a brilliant Lee Douglas mixtape from back in the Lovefingers website days. Never knew what it was at the time and as soon as I saw your post it clicked. Nice. Must now acquire.
