Visited Exeter with family last week, really liked it. Considering potential move as our London home is too small now. Didn’t have time for records but good to know there’s a shop.

Got the extended 12" mix of course but nice video here.
I live in Exeter… hit me up if you’re this way again.
Good to see Andi H back in action, some of the edits he did a while back were super. Lovely fella too.
Good to know there’s a place down there, folks are still in Plymouth so I pass through occasionally will check.
What’s the password btw;)
Just remembered this comment while going through a few old records. Agreed, it does’nt quite work, but he was probably just playing this-
Our friends have moved there via Exmouth and London and love it, great little City.
Funny as someone who has lived close to Exeter for most of my life I do find it consistently disappointing in terms of night life and culture but there are a few things that make it okay - luckily @Spider is fighting the good fight
I was with family so didn’t get to try the night life but the massive Wetherspoons by St David’s was good for feeding the children… Not so Balearic, no, but excellent Victorian orangery.
Thanks Henry. The issue is a nightlife completely dominated by the university and it’s public school intake. There’s good stuff on for d n b etc but you have to look to find the good house/disco side of things. For house, check Jam The Channel. James who runs it is a lovely chap. The success of my last do took me a little by surprise, i must say!
It’s an impressive building, for sure. Pretty nuts up there when the sun’s out.
That brawther made in japan comp is great! I remember there was a big push for Japanese house that seemed to initially start with some of those Soichi Terada reissues/compilations came out on rush hour. Such a simpler time back then…

This is AOTY contender for me already. Went to see him last week at Earth, and it was beautiful. The music is pure psychedelia , but it bangs on every level.
celebrating RSD by ordering from my favorite (online only) record store.
