New Saint Etienne on the vinyls yesterday. Bought the black version over the clear version, (see post re. Lady Blackbird). Its bloody brilliant too.

Enjoying this new Sangre Voss on A-Z. Don’t really know much about Sangre Voss but this is a really varied and interesting set of tunes. Organic vibes, bit of acid. Really nice.

Hard to find Finnish cosmic disco. This release was made to promote a new night club in Tampere in 1984. Has some edit potential. Very nice when pitched down -6%.

Never heard of him before but have been going through his and the labels discography. Nice ambient / deepish stuff.

Really enjoying this one.
Finally succumbed and bought ‘Cleo Sol’s ‘Rose In The Dark’ despite the extortionate price. Has been getting me through many a morning recently. Such a wonderful record. Also grabbed a copy of John Glacier’s new album.

I paid top dollar for Rose in the Dark as well - had to have it shipped to Australia from the UK which made it the most expensive new release record purchased in the past few years. No regrets at all though - it’s one I had to own. Will pay the same for her new album “Mother” soon as well. No idea why such a prominent artist doesn’t have wider distribution. Perhaps it’s by design - the Sault albums aren’t readily available here either.

Both Cleo albums have been absolute ‘need to own’ for me. As have all the Sault releases tbh. I just love them.
