I’m on the fence about the fundido record-couple great tracks on there. how does it sound??
I got a copy of this from pre-order at phonica, really loopy stuff. mostly on the ambient techno side of things. loopy.
I thought I’d get a copy as I like a lot of other acting press stuff but have definitely missed the boat on getting non-digi copies. glad I did.
I’ll give it a listen in a bit and report back.
Belated birthday present from the Mrs. Arrived yesterday.
I’ll be honest, I really like tracks A1, A4 and B4. The rest are decent as well. Definitely a solid purchase.
Will have to check that, this one is actually the 7” - cheapie charideee shop pick up - has definately made me want “a full length” as it were
Yeah it’s a great sleeve. It’s the white label of this:

Unfortunately the pressing is fucked, has the weirdest warp I’ve ever seen - instead of a gradual wave it’s like a 5 mm pimple at the edge of the disc so track one of both sides won’t play.
Cheap £3 pick up though and worth it for the Winston Francis version of “La La La La means I love you” originally by the Delphonics
And as you say, lush graphics too
I used to live round the corner from Peckings, not that I ever went in of course
Highly recommended re issue. Australian dub from 1980s that’s heavily influenced by UK post-punk scene, Mad Prof, Sherwood etc.
I got the record from Dubwise but it’s also digital if you’re that way inclined.
Thanks for the tip in this thread about the KiF Still Out release on Bandcamp Friday. Did anyone else get a super warped copy?
Sorry to hear that. Maybe not what u want to hear but mine came last week and is 100% fine, no warp and plays great.
No issues with mine either
This looks like a nice one
Did any of you go to these parties? In South Africa chill rooms were a thing and there was even a club called the Magic Lushroom that had shag carpet on the walls and a guy named Tarquin played ambient records only that morphed into things on Warp, etc. Got a little too clever and was a bit po-faced. Was that the same in the UK? We’re talking '95 - '98 here.
