Not sure
I adore this album but have the CD - nearly sprung for the new reissue but read that it sounds like they took the tracks from the mixed album and faded them out, rather than using the original tracks. ![]()
Not cheap but very nice.
Been listening to the digital version over the weekend, it’s a lovely record, great stuff @Joe
Thanks mate! ![]()
Folded and bought the Rework What Time Is Love. Still sounds great.
Candi worth it for Wake up Tomorrow. Think Patrick Adams was at the controls for most of the LP too. Cheapie but a goodie
Still on street soul ( very 2021, I know)
Ace Keni Burke Cover
Nick Martinelli dub on this is the stuff of dreams (house)
Also shout to this Rosemarino 12” - very convincing modern boogie with a lush Italian vocal - if you like the spacegrapes stuff I suspect you will enjoy this
???
Have I missed, thought Id never play KIF so skipped
Its back on pre-order at phonica
I may have posted before ( more than once)
91 / 92 my mate came back from that London with a tape of Rampling on Kiss
There was a ‘Wake Up tomorrow’ track he played but didnt mention which I loved
His family had Guinness Book of Hit Singles so pre internet we looked it up & found it was Candi
Next day I popped down to local 2nd hand shop in Grantham which was mainly 70s hippy folk but a few gems ( got T Connection at Midnight from there with the marked grooves for the breaks for 75p) & found a copy which Ive still got
sorry - confused
KIP Still Out ( which now OOS) or What Time is Love repress ( which I would get)
Jamie is in the local hospice charity shop now, where he belongs
I’m also confused!
What Time Is Love
The US twelve has a more percussive dub. Very good too, although the version on that UK double pack release is fantastic.
That Peckings sleeve is lovely. Lovely work by the designer.
