Thanks my wife is less enthused as I’m sure you can imagine. I’m lucky in that my job takes me all over the world so the chance so during my hiatus I found myself just going to my hotel after work which was incredibly depressing but now an hour or two of looking through bins is quite cathartic especially after a day of managing people and budgets.

(slightly) funny story: i’ve “had” that tramaine forever but only recently noticed that what i actually had was “fall down (spirit of love)” in the “in the morning time” sleeve. and strangely, i never noticed.

Yeah, I know it’s getting bad when I go to a hotel and can genuinely say to the manager, “I remember when you worked at the front desk.”

I didn’t buy this but the album costs serious money and the best track is on this 12”. Utterly essential imo.

The one you linked to here is a Zouk 12’’ from years ago, I was talking about the Vincent Arthur 12’’ you posted. Sam Don did a limited run back in December and now it’s slowly arriving at the different distributors. 2 copies from the UK on Discogs so far.
Oh yes, sorry! That one is an absolute banger. I have the record that I think is a reissue but goes for $100+ now but I am very tempted to get the 12" to play out. It’s amazing.

Picked up this EP from 2022 by Homero G.
Has all the touchstone breaks, pads, basslines and rhythms you know and love from the glory days of clubbing’s past but with a modern twist. Like a warm mdma hug with attitude.
