Whats the last record you bought?

Heard this last week while having a particularly challenging day and had to purchase immediately. #Goosebumps

I went with Juno as it wasn’t available last week.
Also sold my 2013 reissue (with the criminally short 3min edit) for a good price. So hopefully it can soon be restored to the collection!

In two minds about whether to sell mine - will it go up in value or down when the 12” comes out?

I have the original 12 anrs001 I reckon this will devalue it a lot. Reissues do although to be fair not the case with james mason’s rhythm of life LP

Depends on how many have been pressed too
I think a lot for this reissue as it’s been in massive demand for many years and comes with original artwork sleeve and centre labels.

Almost certainly down, but y’know: record collecting!
I can’t imagine anyone bought it for the other mix. I’m not flush currently so thought I’d ’cash out’ so to speak and await the one on DE. The other one would just be what I term a ‘shelf slider’ and sit there unplayed forever

I would honestly expect the OG to remain very pricey. It will always be rare, have strong demand/appeal and it is the Original.
Omega auctions had one before Xmas. Sold for ÂŁ170 I think. Prices on Discogs/Popsike still punchy.

Edit-ÂŁ160. Not bad.

It was a while since I bought my last record and I am not proud of that, but once I heard this album, I knew I had to own it on vinyl.

It is a Macedonian singer/composer based in New York, this album is in Macedonian language, produced by Bill Laswell, with a high quality recording and mastering. The pressing is very nice and it sounds great. This album is best enjoyed if you understand the lyrics, but even if you don’t it is still very much enjoyable. My favorite song is Nikar Nizijan.

Great finds! Got some of these on the waitlist as well.

Bought this one also, peach.

Have you got her debut? For me it just pips Howl, but both tremendous. Saw her and her band a few years ago and it was totally mesmerising.

Yes I think both equally amazing and can’t really choose a favourite

Wonderful roots tune from Honest Jons that captivates you with that simplicity, clarity and soul that the best ones have Georges - The Light : Honest Jon’s Records

Got a couple of super long time wants through the post:

Steady B : Just Call Us Def / Fly Shante
Fly Shante an absolute favorite of mine from when it dropped, Just Call Us Def still sounds immense.

High Power : OK, Im Loosin Up
Again another favorite from back in the days, this one has been tricky to pick up, there are two separate releases of this track with the same cataloge number and almost identical labels.
Finally got the version I want, having bought the wrong version twice!
