a nice lil’ stack from my pals at daybreak.
Great find on that Paul Serret! I found this for pennies recently. Arabic Wind is a beautiful track.
I tend to buy anything that has an interesting cover and list of instruments. I was pleasantly surprised at how good it is!
First and maybe only classical album I really really got into… sad though…
Massive at Venus
Marr said its one of his fave guitar parts
Grid on remix?
I’ve got this too. That guitar lick is something else. Didn’t realise it was Spacek.
Grid on the remix
Spacek is the chap on the floor. Great tune.
Marr on guitar
Picked up a copy of this in local Oxfam Music
It was £3 which is pricey for a charity shop but thats Oxfam music ( I do a lot for charidee but dont like to talk about it)
to this day I don’t understand why this wasn’t absolutely huge.
I have admittedly vague memories of it being played at a short lived night somewhere round Cambridge Circus - maybe called Acquired Rhythmic Taste? and the whole place going off.
Had no idea this existed till a week ago. Really good reissue on Drag City, beautiful primitive guitar with new age pads and field recordings. You know exactly what you’re getting based on the cover.
King Tubby dub 10" of Barry Brown Let Go Jah Jah Children
Me too. Dubplate version is brilliant.
Just looked this up and saw it was produced by Steve Roach
Only heard the og of this on Sunday and then googled to see if there was an extended version and there was! £6 on Discogs later! Boom
My ring tone !!
