Saw Billy Idol on the 14th. Terrific show. He’s still got it. Almost 70 and certainly starting to look the part, but doesn’t sound it at all. Sounds about 50 if anything, puts contemporaries from his era to shame frankly.

For sure, after reading his book, even if he took liberties here and there (and I don’t particularly think he did); he’s lucky to be upright at all, much less perform well. He did take to exercise and pretty clean living after his horrific motorcycle accident if I recall.
I’ll definitely see him again. He’s got a new album out in October. I’m hoping he tours in support of it. Now that I’ve seen him, I wish I had years ago, but time gets away from all of us.

One of the parties I’ve always wanted to visit is the Disco Total Italo party of Aroy Dee. They’ve announced the next one for the 13th of July in Amsterdam. I am tempted.
I managed to land a last minute ticket for Anfield tomorrow so had to prioritise family stuff today. The weather is great so sure Theo will be a belter! Would be interested to hear how it is.
