If only I wasn’t in Australia, I’d definitely go to this!

I watched a few videos it looked great. People need things like this in towns and cities all over… Weather plays a big part here in Ireland and the UK, great to see people of all ages smiling, dancing on the streets, great for everyone…

@Piers it turns out I may have a spare for Ron Trent if you (or anyone else here needs one)?
Edit -scrub that meeting a friend now

If anyone happens to have a spare for Ron

I’m keen

Randomly ended up in Brizzle on a Saturday night, went for some carribean food then to a rave over the road. Is it always like that Saturday night in the Peoples Republic of Stokes Croft?
Super friendly madness and not an ounce of bovver or a rozzer to be seen.

Ron Trent was the absolute business. We got down there for the start and stayed to the end. A masterclass in pacing and drama. The addition of a couple of subs gave the sound a nice amount of added bass pressure.

Loads of jazzy, lofty stuff. An hour of incredibly dramatic house where he really let loose on that new mixer he worked on. E2E4 in full and ending with Fly Like an Eagle. A great mixed crowd turned out and got properly locked in.

Sounds amazing, glad you enjoyed. Did anyone go to the Cause on Saturday for Ron and Danny?

Totally overlooked this on its release. Sounded IMMENSE

Did you manage to get a look at the set up ? What mixer was he using ?

Ron Trent was exactly as Piers summed it up. Fantastic. Super hot in that room yesterday but worth it. A really mixed, diverse and friendly up-for-it crowd from start to finish. Loads of highlights…Brass Construction’s Movin’ and Willie Colon’s Set Fire To Me just a couple of them.

Yeah, echoing all the previous comments on Ron Trent. Amazing set and crowd. What I really loved was that the hour of house that Piers mentioned didn’t continue to the end. I wouldn’t have minded, because it was beautiful and intense, but it was refreshing to experience a night where ending on that wasn’t the default or the only acceptable option. Can’t wait for the next one. Will wear shorts next time. It was hot!

He played E2-E4 at the perfect point in the evening, it seemed to go on forever. So good.

It was hot in there but it’s a great venue. The only thing that lets it down are the queues for the bar.

Almost forget this priceless moment: Eri Ohno’s Skyfire was playing. He wandered off - chatting, looking for the next track, whatever - and wasn’t by the decks when it ended. Silence. He sauntered back, picked up the needle, dropped it back in the middle of the track and walked off again. Cool AF.

In other news, I have 2 tickets for Psymon Spine on Wednesday, but can no longer make it. Any takers?

Not sure if it’s representative of their set (I suspect not : - ) but love this remix by LI:
