Think the Stolen From Ivor in Stockport is still there, remember when I first saw it a few years ago because I hadn’t seen one for decades.
I remember the one on Brown St in Mcr city centre, near where the underground market used to be.
Once saw Steve Diggle from Buzzcocks looking at a jacket there
Yeh mate, thats the one. An indie kids dream that place along with Aflecks
Apparently, the Stockport shop was the last one to stay open after all the others were closed down! I never knew the owner was called Ivor either untill i just read it
The one on Brown Street was opposite where ‘oasis’ was iirc.
There was also one at the arse end of the arndale next to where the bus station used to be (pre bomb)
Those yellow and black carriers were the best.
Must have been late 70’s I used to go.
Part 2 this Sunday. Hopefully heading down.
I’ll be there. Also going to the Supernature party that day.
Also, Homoelectric on Saturday night.
Big weekend!
Took the boy to Camp Bestival this weekend for his first festival experience. This is just as Primal Scream took to the stage. He loved it
Hey all, this one happening Sunday in Hackney. Some free tickets available here for the TP faithful.
I was there too:) Didn’t stay for Sunday night though. DJ Yoda was fun and Badly Drawn Boy also decent.
Great picture…
That was our two’s first festival in 2012. Chic, Hot Chip, 2 Bears, Rodigan and Justin Robertson, Youngest now rolls in at gone 6.00am regularly on Monday mornings and is off to Lost Village in about a 30 strong gang tomorrow.
Does anyone in London fancy going and having a listen to this for me and reporting back.
KLF have re-enacted 1987 and given the only acetate to the British Library. Available to listen to in the sound gallery for the next week.

Hoping to get to this

Thinking of going to carnival for the first time in years on Sunday. I’ll be with my 14 year old lad so want to avoid the major roadblocks. Any tips for the best sound systems with a bit of (relative) space to move? Cheers
Channel One are my goto with Abashanti I a close second. KCC were always great bitd for a bit House’y business.
