Wanna give a shout to Musical Fruits here in Bristol, it’s been going since last year, went to my first one yesterday - all I can say is this is the real deal.
Custom surround sound system, adv tix only, venue well off the beaten track but central, no bar, no phones, no talking on the dancefloor - 1pm-8pm went along and danced my socks off in a way I hadn’t done in ages.
Deli G DJing the whole sesssion, everything from Ahmed Jamal Trio to Detroit to boogie, classic disco, the works. Really nice unassuming crowd, felt like home.
Next one is March 13th - I’ll defo be going, any SW crew get involved
