What you going to?

very jellz.

Did anyone (LDN) go to that FK party at the warehouse on Scrutton Street (?) about 15 years ago? I think it was a one-off. All a bit hazy

Think it may have been the same warehouse where people like Joy Orbison used to do stuff. There was a sort of big white room with pinkish lighting upstairs?

Where’s the lil louis one? Completely passed me by

The enginarium place in Hove near Waitrose??

Oh, yeah. Haven’t been to that. I think it only has a license until 10, apart from anything.

On verge of booking a trip over for this weekend now, some really cheap flights and decent hotel deals available. jon gomez and nick the record in night tales on the Saturday too. Have wanted to hear Ron Trent for ages tho, 45 quid for a ticket for ministry! What’s it like? see they do table service and all that, normally that’s a red flag for me :laughing:

I’ve heard really good things about that festival - would love to go but I’m off to Tryouts in Bucharest in May and Glas Vegas Alfos in April, so it’ll have to be next year for the psych-fest. Hope you’re both doing good mate. xx

I have the same reservations…Ron Trent was amazing at Giant Steps a couple of years back and I’m really tempted by this because of the line-up (never liked the MoS much tbh) but yeah, saw the ticket price and the VIP/queue jump etc and have baulked (at least for now)…

Dave said that Tryouts weekend was really good last year. Will see if money allows. Had this mad idea about doing the whole thing by train as have inlaws in CH we could stop off at en route

That would be a great way of doing it. I know a few people that have been to all the Romanian editions and they’ve highly recommended it. @Gregg is up for it too - will be fun!

Yes I booked it last night, thanks to the mention on here! can’t wait! been one of those things I’ve looked at the last cpl of years but couldn’t fit in so delighted to get it sorted this time round!

The LDN trip mentioned above has now been put on the back burner with bugged out weekender in March as well, that’s plenty to keep us going for the start of the year anyway!

I’ve got Franz Scala in Glasgow in Feb and Jennifer Cardini plus Logan Fisher in Edinburgh in May booked in already.

I do really fancy Rotation this year, but it’s a major trek from here

Camp Bestival in Dorset with the wife and kids (7 and 5).

Used to go to festivals regularly as a (relative) youngster (Glastonbury, Big Chill) but this is my festival since Secret Garden Party in 2014 and first family one so looking forward to a pretty different experience

I’d highly recommend the Square and Compass museum of oddities and snorkeling the marine trail in Kimmeridge (it’s shallow water and should be safe for kids).

We went to the Shropshire one a couple of years ago. Really good weekend, so much to do for the kids and plenty to keep the adults entertained as well

Heavily recommend Stowaway if anyone’s after a festival with kids, been the last two years and it’s been absolutely class both times

After serious fomo from last year’s line up, I’ve taken the plunge for tickets for the family to We Out Here. Sounds like they are investing more kid friendly stuff this year, which swayed it from Camp Bestival for me (which selfishly might not have the line up I’m looking for!). We’ve got a few friends with families going so there’ll be a critical mass of kids to hang out with

Sadly looks like we’ll not be able to attend Adrian Sherwood at the Barbican in February. Does anyone want 2 Standard tickets (Circle: D43, D44) cost me Ā£89 with booking, Ā£42.50 a piece

Would like £60 if possible? Tickets are PDF via email
