What you going to?

The Faith boat party was good fun on Saturday, lovely evening for it and the city looked great from the river. Nancy Noise was on good form. Unfortunately just as the party was kicking off some nutter jumped off the top deck…the boat went into emergency mode, music turned off and police search boats searching the river. Everyone feared the worst but turned out was some loon who had decided to swim for shore…Boat had to dock early as a result.

What the fuck!

Probably not, he’d have walked across the Thames to shore.

What an absolute tool. Probably the same bloke in that viral clip who drove into a Maccy D’s off his nut

Of little Faith then.

Sounds like the most dramatic boat party since a mysterious turd was found on deck at Lowlife

Could’ve been a podcast in that…

Not heard that one. LowLog

Reminds me of my birthday party aged 8/9 and my dad had made a makeshift table with a big sheet of ply on some wooden cubes he’d made to seat a load of kids around. Once we’d all eaten and left the room a mystery log was found on the floor

Took a punt on this before the line up came out, price was too good to pass up and with disco pogo on board too thought it would be decent…and it is! Still more tbc, but some faves in there already…

If anyone has a spare for Prefab Sprout in London on the Sunday can you let me know… Ta.

Two tickets going free for Pachyman at the Jazz Cafe on Thursday night if anyone fancies it? Mr COVID has made an unwelcome return in our house this week…

A few days previous, but Watching Trees last weekend was fantastic.
Having dispensed with a half term of rain we had great weather all weekend.
When we got the location and I peeped at the map I thought ‘that’ll do nicely’ and i wasnt disappointed: brilliant little site.
Great, varied crowd. Many acts I wasnt that familiar with but arrived with open ears and was treated to loads of goodness throughout the weekend.
Only downside was Keith being unwell so only half of Optimo for their own event.
A quality ‘sonic reset’ to kick off the summer, make me book more stuff in and encourage me to listen to the more diverse corners of my collection for a bit (and buy more records obviously).
Sign me up for next year!

Checked this out on insta after a friend said they went- looks awesome! Will try and go next year- did it sell out quickly?

Haha what?! When was that!
