Taking my 15 year old hip hop loving daughter to see Shadow tonight. She’s seen Kendrick and Tyler etc but never the turntablist side of hip hop, so it should be an eye opener for her.

How was Lowlife?
I had a great night. Enjoyed Dave Lee in the main room. Never heard him play before and he was great, went down a storm. Frank played a brilliant warm up. Second room was a bit hit and miss.
Crowd was a good mix of new and old, young and ancient. It was sold out and super busy. Always amazes me when people say it’s the first time they’ve been and it’s the 30th anniversary. Bill and Frank seemed really pleased with how the night had gone.

Sounds like excellent fun. Dave Lee is a great DJ and imagine would have carried it off. Sorry I missed it and looking forward to hearing the set when Bill posts it up.
