How was Lowlife?
I had a great night. Enjoyed Dave Lee in the main room. Never heard him play before and he was great, went down a storm. Frank played a brilliant warm up. Second room was a bit hit and miss.
Crowd was a good mix of new and old, young and ancient. It was sold out and super busy. Always amazes me when people say it’s the first time they’ve been and it’s the 30th anniversary. Bill and Frank seemed really pleased with how the night had gone.

Yes. Starts strangely early but I’ll be there. I’ll be wearing a carnation and have a copy of the FT under my left arm.

Sounds like excellent fun. Dave Lee is a great DJ and imagine would have carried it off. Sorry I missed it and looking forward to hearing the set when Bill posts it up.

Bloody hell you weren’t kidding. Magical stuff. The cannons in the round to open were amazing, Caroline Polachek sat in. Superb evening.

Geez, it’s getting crazy down here. Nothing for ages and then all at once.
Ivan Smagghe was brilliant last night. He’s getting my nomination for next French president on a mandate of good tunes and smiles for the masses. Floaty bangers galore with a healthy dose of banging bangers. The crowd were excellent too.
