Went to a brilliant sweaty pub rave last night in Brighton run by a couple of mates, they had Nancy Noise as a guest DJ who played an amazing set. Whilst dancing to this epic extended version of Il Veliero by The Chaplin Band I bumped into TP member @reubenturner, great to meet you!
We had a little moment there didnāt we! Lovely to meet you.

haha I received an unexpected message from someone in the ladies queue there so I was there in spirit too! It wasnāt the old Globe on Middle Street was it? a regular haunt for Kinfolk parties years ago
@Hierbas it was at The Old Albion on Church Road, lovely old pub, perfect for a rave. They should probably hire in an industrial air conditioner next time though, the windows were dripping

It was another special afternoon. A little more of a house party vibe musically than last time (Madonna! Golden Avatar! Frida!) and everyone had an absolute ball.
I couldnāt go this time but seems like a perfect Sunday event to attend.

2008 is around the time I started going. 2 parties I vividly remember around that time was the one with prins thomas and another one with the idjut boys. The rest are pretty much a blur now.
Yes, weāre going too, was asked to play, but we were due at the Golden Lion at the time.
DJing the whole night (well 7-11) for the first time in many years tomorrow at the Wood Street Bear in Walthamstow. Itās a great little spot which I think Iāve seen mentioned on here before, if anyone is local and around come say hi.

Still feeling incredibly #blessed to be invited to play at the Mareh Festival over in Brazil next Sunday. Feel less excited about the epic journey to get there mindā¦
