What you going to?

“Some people said it sounded like Robert Wyatt, I had never much listened to his stuff before I started singing, it’s a compliment, I mean he can’t sing either”.

Ha. He’s got a great voice and delivery, the tracks on a couple of your mixes caught my ear. Really like them.

A very mixed weekend! Techno in Glasgow Saturday night, rolled in at 6am. Oof. That hurt a bit. Then Sunday evening, Lady Nade sings Nina Simone at the Voodoo Rooms. Think we were the youngest people in there! Amazing voice, brilliant band. Superb. Got me right in the feels :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes::ok_hand:

Yup I’m looking forward to Noel Watson who I’ve not heard for somethig like 3 decades!
Tedd Patterson is one of my all time faves, so really hoping he’s on early enough as we’re on the last train home.

Same here regarding Noel, no idea how long ago it was for me but must be best part of 30 years. Been gorging on a load of his mixes lately in anticipation (Never Never Bounce mix is nice). Looking forward to TP too…Likewise, could be a very late dash to London Bridge depending on set times…

There’s a new music bar opening this Friday and it looks promising. Sadly I’m out of town. I’m pretty sure @Lasaroff will be there?

Record stores: OK Sound for electronic music, Eronen for reggae, latin etc. more organic stuff.

Food: Salmon soup from Marja Nätti at Hakaniemi Market hall for lunch. 305 or Wellamo for 3-4 course dinner.

Thanks, soup sounds good! Will be on the ferry back to Estonia in the evening tho.

Waterloo for me
I regularly still listen to those old Pre, Peak and Post Delerium mixes from here. They must be a good 10yrs old now themselves!
