I love formats of all sizes, there are definitely some 7s I wish were cut louder/clearer/longer on 12, but such is their charm. I also constantly forget the NM Ja/dub 7, is never same sonic fidelity as the NM Prelude disco 12:sweat_smile:

By all means give the lp a shitty review but it’s hard to take seriously when the reviewer asserts that this is the first time BOC used guitars- they were all over Campfire Headphase

I kinda get where he’s coming from on the drum tracks front. Also I fear that it’s a repeat of Tomorrow’s Harvest, where Reach for the Dead being the lead single was easily the best track on the album. Hoping it’s not the same with the new one but I’m quite prepared to be disappointed

I liked Tomorrow’s Harvest- they leaned into more of a dystopian stripped back approach which I liked, but appreciate that it maybe lacked the tropes that they are identified with

Yes Tomorrow’s Harvest doesn’t do much for me either.
I’ve read loads of positive reviews from the listening events last week but almost all of them are from diehard fans … so …
Anyway by Friday all will be revealed!

I was cycling to work this morning through Hyde park and am always amazed at the amount of people dressed in winter outfits. They must have grown up in unbelievably hot climates!
some people genuinely do not look out the open window, or check weather in the morning. I don’t get that at all.
Man’s not hot! Is it the other end of the spectrum of the guys who were shorts all year round??
