luv sade, luv mariah, luv aaliyah, luv Whitney, luv Cocteau Twins.
'ate Kate Bush, 'ate kylie Minogue.
Simples.
Actually Kate Bush Happy Hardcore remixes are funny. but otherwise awful middle class cokehead music.

reads like a Met Police press release
Is one of them called Running Up that Hill…Twice as quick’?
I think Kate Bush is decent although I prefer the less surreal later stuff. Anyway gotta run, my dealer’s on the phone which is at the other end of our mansion
Kate Bush and Kylie are the last things I’d be thinking of listening too on gak tbh.
Her later album Aerial is fantastic in my opinion.
Do you have any examples of this?
Nocturne…
Goosebumps
King of the Mountain is a big fave round ours
haha… I grew up in Harrow and drank in a wine bar there occasionally, would have probably been towards the late 80’s though, was kind of opposite McDonalds if I remember rightly.
It’s a long time ago so I may have it all the wrong way round but if I remember correctly there was a Pizza Hut and a few doors after that this wine bar. It was near a roundabout that took you up towards Harrow School. this is before they built the new shopping centre.
My other memory of Harrow is a club nearer to Harrow and Wealdstone station opposite a big pub where the Who had allegedly played their first gig. The club was a proper sticky carpet kind of venue but was the only place open serving after last orders.
Oh god, late teens shudder …
That sounds like the one, think it was probably the only wine bar in Harrow at the time.
That club was Tudors, later called the Bridge I think. A proper dump, but could be fun and like you say the only place around there open late.
YES! Tudors.
I’m amazed that I spent so much of my life after that traumatic experience in clubs.
Massive fave, and then when Coyote gave it their Magic Wand treatment it sent it stratospheric for me.
course
I do
Happy Hardcore Final Boss!
Jesus H Rollerblading Christ that’s dreadful.
This kind of shit. When you’ve spent years, basically defending the status quo, and are now dumbfounded that a despicable cunt like Trump is in the position he is.
I’ve always had a soft spot for this, although you might argue it’s as much Brendan Lynch as it is Weller.
absolute joke of a genre which isn’t fit to lick jungle (or in fact) breakbeat hardcores toes, with a select few bangers from 94-95, but you have to be extremely scrupulous. Still, I admire the fact it exists, proper rock n roll idiot energy.
anyway those select few bangers were almost invariably engineered by Grant Nelson, who was grounded in house and garage and had the keyboard pedigree to show for it.
skip to 5 m 21 for the foreclosed hhc garage loungecore synthesis which was never to be.
