this is absolute bloody murder, but I would say the same for punk and even some post-punk, so feel free to declare murder on me as well.
Although it explains how progressive house seemed like a good idea to some british whiteboys in 1992! The aversion to jazz resulted in strange bedfellows in order to retain a deal of abstraction.
Anyway, my boy said it best:
In all seriousness though, jazz is a 100 year old tradition, I’m not sure how most of it can be dismissed. It’s not as if it had its popular moment and then was rendered irrelevant — not until the late 70s at least, which is impressive given phenomena in pop culture tend to last less than 20 years.

Trying to suggest it’s an end user priority when reality is they just wanna generate sign ups and people being more likely to sign up for premium access to YouTube. That’s all those c***ts care about.
Internet was so much better when commercial interests weren’t asking you to ‘sign in’ to every single thing.
