Got attacked at the beach while eating some chips. My wife was no help at all given the hysterical laughing she was enduring.

One of them swooped down and nicked what was left of a hot dog out of my hand on Polzeath beach last year.
Years ago a baby seagull fell into a freinds basement flat garden in Hove.
They nurtured it and kept it for a while in their bathroom. They came home to find it had eaten a face flannel which they had to retrieve by the loose end.
Once fully fledged it would return daily often bringing shells or polished stones as gifts.
Finally it arrived one day with a partner, presumably seeking approval. Once given they flew away never to return.
When we lived in a flat also in Hove we had a gull visit daily and tap on the window. It turned out that the previous tenant, a colleague of my wife, used to feed it anchovies.
I had to tell it that it’s life of Riley was at an end.

Just watched some Republican talking head talking about how Trump will reduce the government debt, like he did last time - he didn’t. The deficit rose under Trump (like it has under pretty much every Republican president) due to his tax cuts. That’s not a bad thing, it’s who benefits from the increase. Not to mention that there is no such thing as a government debt with a monetary sovereign state like the US (who exactly are the debtors?) Drives me fucking crazy.
How this ideology still has traction baffles me.

Just saw a post on my Insta which appeared to be him saying he’d quit his day job. I didn’t listen to it but commenting here because of the comments from people wishing him luck.
David Guetta, Paul Oakenfold were prominent on the feed. Then people I actually respect like Ed Simons, Heidi Lawden. Tons of other ‘industry’ names.
Perhaps I’m (we all are) just miserable c****? Or the world has officially gone mad.
Or maybe he’s an incredibly useful promo/marketing tool now?
