This one really resonates with me at the moment. I’ve been on a bit a grumble and spite campaign against the current situation in Sydney and the dullification by one bar tsar’s company buying up all the pubs and bars in Sydney and basically white washing the city with boring bar djs peddling bullshit by playing the same jazz/funk/soul/hip hop in every venue. (phew - that lack of punctuation read like a sleaford mods lyric).
Say what you like about SM’s, you can’t deny that they had a couple of crackingly on point diatribes when they first started recording, for example…

got my first negative seller feedback on discogs today, all because the texas post office doofs can’t read my handwriting.
i did refund the guy in full but apparently he’s in discogs-karen mode so after 14 years of selling perfection, my streak is broken. ah well.

Feel your pain… I had an ebay account that was 20 years old, 100% positive feedback on 500+ transactions. Sold some sunglasses to someone who wasn’t happy so refunded including the postage but she still posted negative feedback and as I was more of a buyer than a seller I dropped to about 65%. I ended up just closing the account, wish I’d not refunded as I got hit both ways. Some people are just vindictive

I can’t say I like them musically but the lyrics to jobeeker resonate, especially if you’ve ever spent time on the dole.
Can see why so many people connected with them after however many years of austerity and Tory nonsense

i did one better, i shamed/guilted the guy into changing his negative feedback into positive feedback.
i wasn’t in the wrong, so doing it was right - but good to know that i can still flex my manipulative side now and again.
