Ha, I’m fortunate not to thankfully but I was behind someone in a queue yesterday who ostentatiously licked his finger before picking up a leaflet off the counter. Made me realise I’ve been quietly puzzled and annoyed by this for years! It’s not as if picking up a piece of paper is particularly challenging and your fingers need some extra help is it? (apologies to any inveterate finger lickers on the forum 
)
The first record I ever bought on eBay in 2000! I think it cost about forty dollars, which at the time was really a lot of money to me and maybe even the most I’d ever spent on a record.
Sold it 10 years later for much more during my big disco clear out/mortgage deposit period.
Brilliant record.

As someone who deals with alot of paper at work every day this is an absolute necessity in order to be able to get some purchase to separate out individual sheets, maybe I just have dry fingers!

Never a more joyous song about being broke with a clunky disco beat, this is my world at this moment in time.

No real regrets apart from some of them have zoomed up in value in the years since - but then some of them have probably dropped in value - I still check now and again 
. I had a very young child and needed the money, so it made sense at the time plus I was really winding down my DJing.
I was going to say, it’s definitely a dry finger thing. I consciously try and avoid my fingers going anywhere near my mouth/nose and eyes since vhemo many years ago, and wnen moreso since Covid. Apparently, one of the most common causes of infection entering the body is via the rubbing of the eyes.
