So aside from selecting tunes and playing them in the order you choose, what else does the “art of DJing” involve? It’s basically a playlist whilst the “DJ” concentrates on looking good for Insta/throwing cakes/pretending to twiddle knobs.

Serato does this for you anyway, if you want it arranged by energy that is an option on mixed in key that can be saved into any field you want in the ID3 tag.
All this stuff has been around for ages in different places, it’s just like a DJ City account with a few extras.
I think this is aimed at the types of djs who play hen parties and cheesy city center clubs, not Steve Aoki…
They should have a cheaper request option where the song plays an advert halfway through your request, but you can skip the advert after 3 seconds if you get your phone out in time otherwise it autoplays another advert that is unskippable.

Saw a few mentions of Suggs in another thread and it reminded me of a conversation I had recently with a friend about his silly hand movements that he’s been using as schtick for 40 years now. Then again, maybe it’s his version of the Joe Cocker arm and hand gesturing?
