I still can’t understand why long-term projects, such ss Crossrail, that cost billion of pounds and take several Goverment terms to complete, can just be stopped on the whim of the current PM,. Especially one whos got previous for squandering billions elsehere! Why bother stopping now,?
It was a shameless power grab driven by brexit.
Thought exactly the same thing. Surely a parliamentary debate and vote should be necessary?
I definitely don’t get those awful Phix clothing video ads that proliferate my timelines. Especially the ones with that bloke with those terrible tattoos and faux posh voice.
As per my earlier post, I think politicians on a 5yr timeframe are the people least likely to get big things done. Didn’t we used to have a “dept of public works “ or something which got on with things regardless of which party was in power?
Watched the first 30 seconds, couldn’t stomach and had to turn him off. No words.
RA used to love PC Music, they released a lot of garbage in my opinion.
LinkedIn. Facebook for Tories. I hate everything about it, from the faux congratulatory “great move, Ed!” reaction to the most bland work status updates, to the absurd “sharing my thoughts on how to find your inner self while working 18 hour days” bullshit.
“Every time a friend succeeds, I die a little.”
Gore Vidal.

Yeah a necessary evil in my line of work.
He’s also authorised the sale of the bought up land so that if labour get in it will be impossible to reverse the decision. Pure spite!
The difference between a podcast and an internet radio show.
Bumped into someone I know yesterday who said he liked the podcast I do (on Loose.fm).
Am I a “podcaster”? Should I be worried?
Be afraid. Be very afraid.
There must be a support group?
Sounds like a lot of empty trains to me. Perfect analogy for the Tories in all truth.
I lost interest when they reversed their decision to cease as a band after all that publicity, talk show appearances, etc.
I always liked the James Murphy persona and thought he/they did a brilliant send-up but then they got exposed when people started taking them seriously. It was supposed to be shambolic and there was never any real plan and all of a sudden DFA had to grow up. Although I have read he is a lot more ruthless than he looks…
