What don't you get

I loved most releases from Mountain People but I swear every one sounded the same. I’ve always liked the monotonous groove though.

Workshop had some amazing stuff out round that time too. Kasseme Mosse LP still sounds class

EE is one of those people who can’t just disagree with you politically and let it go, oh no it has turn into ridicule, which is my main reason for disliking him

99% of house Twitter is fine though imo. The likes of joe muggs, anthony teasdale, wrongtom, red rackem often start good threads.

If you want bile Pipecock offers good value (he was on here too I think?) . As purists go he is untouchable.

Mozzer doen’t suffer fools gladly. A MUST follow.

I also follow Mixmaster Morris, who must share about 200 random tweets a day lol

I looked through who I follow on Twitter etc the other week and out of the however many, it’s the same 5 or 6 I’m reading daily. This is why the Forum format for me is so nice to come back to. It’s kinder, maybe because you gravitate towards your people?

I was just thinking about Dixon recently, is that guy even still relevant? He always seemed like he was in it for the fame. I remember RA used to love Dixon and every party he played they would write about it. This was in like 2012-2015 or so.

One of the great joys of getting older is giving less and less fucks about whatever the current musical (and most things) trends are.

He played amazing sets in London at plastic people in 2006. Loads of his own stuff, i:cube, carl craig etc. Thursday night. £5 entry. 75 people in there going nuts. Obv once the big dollars came a-knockin’ it was game over. I feel grateful to have experienced the rawness and energy of those nights on a decent system. Some sadness it will never happen again.

Kassem Mosse just did a mix for palace skateboards on Apple Music and it’s very good.

Hot Ones has upped the ante somewhat but a lot of hot sauces particularly at those stores - which north of Virginia are all in outlet malls for some reason - are designed to see who can give someone the absolute worst experience of their life. There are thousands of variables even if the ratios are the same; type of vinegar, quality of the pores, etc etc etc etc. nobody comes close to sriracha’s Vice grip though. That’s the constant, although I do like Truff.

Yes, he’s a top lad. We had breakfast last time I was in NYC.

Any mixcloud or soundcloud links? Not on Apple Music

Doesn’t look like it. Judging by the website they’ve got a deal with Apple Music.

Not very House. There’s no arguing with these people anymore - their brains are mush.

I remember reading the most horrific exchange between him and Terry Farley where basically they were blaming “moslems” for everything. Unfollowed both the same day. Not very house.

Yeah I unfollowed TF a long time ago too :grimacing:

It’s so grim.

Rampling shares stuff from Piers Corbyn :joy:

You know its a problem when they latch on to every single (non) issue that emerges. Flavour of the month conspiracy theories and then move on to the next one when the engagement levels on your socials start to take a dip.
