I’m gonna say right now hoka Clifton 8 are the best shoes I have ever owned both for running and everyday walks. Highly recommend
based on this correlation Hoka must be some of the best / most functional running shoes ever

I wear the nimbus for running and have been for the last 5 years or so. I’m a bit chunky so need as much cushioning as possible. I usually buy the previous years iteration at a discount. good for long walks, easy hikes etch
I’m about to upgrade from some rank Mizuno wave riders to something a bit nicer. Can’t decide between the New Balance Fresh Foam X 860v13 or the Hoka Mach 5’s.

One of my flip flops broke walking down London Rd in Brighton and I had to hop to Poundland to get another pair immediately. Couldn’t even face ten yards in bare feet.

I’m 6ft 5 tall, weigh around 95kg and have a fucked knee. Well cushioned sounds good to me.
Subtract 3 inches and the fucked knee and we’re pretty much the same, ha.
Try the 1080 or the Nimbus, you will enjoy them.
My Mrs is bare foot most of the time on holidays and always at home and around the garden, downside is finding random stuff in the bed…

My 9 year old told me he’d like to get into sneakers. Out of sight my wife shouted, “not another fucking one”. Yes, another one. Went out and bought him a pair of Air Maxes in about 20 minutes. We were looking at Jordan’s tonight. His size is still affordable, so all the ones I can’t get he could.

I loved these back in 2011, wish they’d re-release. One of the only AM1’s that had a slim profile and a decent toe box.
There’s nothing out there just now even close to the OG shape IMHO
