Damn that’s nice!
Really like those.
just got 3 pairs of trainers delivered today - 2 pair of the above referenced Saucony (my fave brand) - the Strawberry Cheesecake and the Blue Footed Booby! and these Adidas Forum Lows. All on sale for a ridiculously low price - I’m well chuffed.
What’s the fit like on the Saucony compared to the Adi ?
I’ve a wide foot so have worn Adidas (in various guise) for ever. But over the last decade or so, I’ve found the quality has dropped off, so am looking for options.
I have a couple of pairs (Jazz). UK8. I’d say they’re fairly true to size and comfy. I’m not massively broad footed mind, but I’ve not had any issues with them.
Had a bit of a footwear emergency in Tokyo last month.
I had to pick up a pair of trainers (or very comfortable walking shoes) asap.
I tried Adidas and NB flagship stores and the problem for me is I have wide feet and I genuinely find it hard to find trainers that I like that fit comfortably.
I knew about ON trainers and saw there was the Flagship store a shirt distance from where I was.
Popped in and after trying a few pairs I found the best walking around the city in peak summer trainers Ive ever had.
I walked miles each day around the city and there was plenty of dancing at night (highlight being FK in a packed basement on a Tuesday night) and felt like I was walking on air.
Side note: These are probably the first pair of trainers I’ve bought in over a decade, I wear Timberland Boat shoes day in day out.
My wife loves this brand. Like you, says they are the most comfortable shoes ever made. The shop in London is like a cult HQ.
Amazing
Rivalling adidas in amongst the LFC youth. No mean feat.
Hanon are closing. Shit news. Was the best thing about living in Aberdeen for 11 years, really uses to enjoy chatting to Murray et al, and queuing in the freezing cold to grab the collabs. Meh.
There’s been some sound staff in there over the years, and that place definitely kept me from descending into personal fashion hell many times over the years.
Dancing shoes arrived for ALFOS next month, I have the white and blue ones they are tough and comphy…
I wish I’d have worn mine last night, my feet are aching
i like just because they remind me of a personal favourite…
From what i see around East London, these are bang on trend at the moment.
1980’s/1990’s football shirts also seem to be a thing amongst female fashionistas. Saw someone who probably wasn’t even born when they were the club’s kit strutting down Kingsland Road wearing the Southampton shirt with "Draper Tools"as the sponsor on it.
