Barbie’s a total romp. Great fun.

I absolutely love Greta Gerwig. She’s already showcasing her versatility as a director, with just a handful of films under her belt.

Saw The Creator the other day. Good but not great. Looks brilliant. Lots that works but lots that doesn’t, sadly.

Just booked tickets for Hit Man at London Film Festival. Noir/comedy/thriller. Richard Linklater directs.

Went to see Stop Making Sense tonight. I know some have said the remastered sound isn’t great but I fucking love it. Life affirming vibe all round. Ednah + Lynn 4 ever

Never seen a concert film in a cinema, were people dancing in the aisles?

Went to see it yesterday. Still possibly one of my favourite films of all time. So good. And you’re right about life affirming, gives all the feels.

No. It was a small screen at Everyman so quite intimate. Nodding heads though!

I went to Breakdance 2 electric boogaloo and before the movie there was several Uprocks on the stage… Lol.

I have both albums and some feather earings…

I went in Brighton earlier in the week, all quite restrained until ‘once in a lifetime’ and then non-stop dancing & whooping broke out among the Gen Z kids
Made it so much better

It should be compulsory for the audience to run laps around the cinema during the middle of Life During Wartime

Went tonight, its still utterly amazing. Haven’t seen it at the cinema in 30 years.

I’m so jealous of all of you. It’s probably not playing here in a movie theatre until next year when there’s a music film festival which attracts THE WORST crowd of snobby cinephiles.

I watched Hit Man last night. The last screening of the London Film Festival.

Not sure when it’s out but well worth watching. Excellent dark comedy and love story. Glen Powell (Top Gun Maverick dude) is very funny. It was laugh out loud in the cinema; the whole thing went down very well with the audience.

In Hollywood and friend has landed us tickets for the premier of this… Looking forward.

Update. Was good. Great soundtrack and a very good looking film. Elvis doesn’t come out of it so well.
