Ha great!
I watched that recently. It’s superb.
I hated it and also felt about 30 years too old when watching it. My 15yo daughter really liked it.
I went with Frank and he wanted to leave but I had to stick it out. Part of me felt I must be missing out on something as I really liked some of the directors previous films.
But yeah, maybe 50 year old blokes aren’t the target audience.
Watched Civil War last night. Surprised me. Enjoyed!
Just saw Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga. I loved it. Complete maximalist fun. Total overload. My daughter; on the other hand, “thought it was never going to end”.
My wife & I (late 30s) really enjoyed it. It required a sense of disbelief in regards to the tennis–there is no way that a multi-slam winner (Art supposedly won 6?) would consistently struggle against a guy who lives on the challenger circuit. But artistically was quite refreshing, loved the camerawork and and back-and-forth narrative.
I loved the first film and I usually really hate that kind of thing. The first twenty mins was absolutely batshit and I almost forgot to breathe, so I definitely want to see this one.
Mrs J_C is out though, not for her!
Went last night to see it. I absolutely loved it! The action sequences are incredible. It is slightly too long but that might have just been my bladder talking. Need to watch Fury Road again soon.
That sequence where the battle rig is attacked is absolutely mind-boggling. So inventive. But don’t go expecting subtlety!
Just back from Furiosa. Action scenes are wild! I thought Chris Hemsworth stole the show though
He was great! My wife said she didn’t realise it was him for about half an hour
The power of a prosthetic nose.
Went to see the rewilding movie last night, sat next to some posh old people who obviously don’t get out much and kept going HA! at anything even slightly witty (and it’s definitely not a comedy). It was like a Fast Show sketch.
Was it any good, I’m keen to see it as I found the book made a lot of sense to me in what it proposed
Nicely shot, but won’t tell you anything the book doesn’t.
Labour’s candidate in Clacton against Farage is absolutely loving it.
(Sorry posted this in totally the wrong thread)
You can post it anywhere you like x
Went to Knepp this morning just to complete the set, lovely day out
