Yeah mad…been operating for decades and now suddenly there is a problem…apparently there is an issue with the license they have - restaurant license and not club, but strange this has suddenly been picked up on.
has all the hallmarks of a classic stitch-up by one of the big boys. the new Privilege probably wants to buy the building/land for some branded concept restaurant to go with the grand reopening.
reminds me of when the Nazis request that Rick’s Bar gets shut down in Casablanca and the local police ask “but for what reason?” and Major Strasser replies “Find one”

I remember that happened to DC10 around 2009, they got shuttered for a year or more for ‘not having the correct’ licence. Very murky Ibiza politics at play no doubt
