The Ibiza Thread

The only places I have been in the last 6 or 7 years have been Pikes for DJ Harvey of course, Pikes is pretty crap the rest of the time bar the odd one off and The Underground for Barac and Rhadoo’s nights. I went to Pacha once but was pretty shite sadly, I did used to like it there.

Exactly we all know pizza places and the likes on the island where you buy chizzle and it’s put down as a bottle of cava or wine on your bill, but this is an actual kebab and the €36 is for 4 slider mini burgers lol and not 4 good pills.

The group I mentioned earlier from here, 3k for table 14 or 15 in group, being Irish no food and the 3k was gone in about a hour  then everything thing else added to the Bill and the music stopped 2hr earlier and expected :rage: just as well for them Imagine having to pay more after pre booked 3k…

The queue at DC10 today looked very inviting :flushed: think it was sold as pay at the door…

Just seen the clip……:see_no_evil:

Not much to add to that sorry

Are you there?

Nooooooooo

Worse line up I think I have seen there and that’s going some considering how bad it has become. They are just missing Kerri Chandlers tech house set with lazers to complete the line up

80€ to queue up for hours to be a sardine at a tedious tech-bro fest. I’d rather go to the dentist, or mass or my funeral tbh

€80? Really??

Scenes again at DC10

Wasn’t sure where to put this so will leave here in what seems to be the forums Ibiza thread.

A really good conversation between Joe Muggs, Ruf Dug, Colleen Murphy and Zakia at the recent Beat Hotel event at Hostal La Torre

Edit: Mix cloud link won’t embed. It’s this one

I have to say, this thread has put me off going there again. Rip off after rip off or am I missing something.

I think I may venture there for a weekend in 2022, but haven’t been since 2006 as the dickhead quotient in DC10 etc was rising rapidly even then. Plus, as you say, the rip offs were getting ridiculous. 2005 you could just grab a lounger for pennies on Cala Jondal and chill. By 2006 they wanted 250€, I think it’s about 500€ for one these days.

I had a quick look at an Ibza forum the other day and that would put you right off going ever again, couldn’t believe some of the nonsense on there. People getting excited for an extra hour in club :man_facepalming: and asking will the queue at DC10 move quickly on NYD

No that’s about right. There was always places to go to away from all sillyness but they are disappearing very fast. :pensive: And next year will see lots of changes and extra hurdles that I won’t be jumping over just to go to your favourite little beach.

Ibiza Spotlight?

Full of absolute goons. Car crash reading but I can’t help myself sometimes.

there was recently a page after page heated ‘debate’ about the noise pollution from DC10, people defending the residents, others defending DC10. If they bothered to read about the complaints of noise pollution, there were seven, six were from the same person. They were literally arguing over (almost) nothing.

Just avoid the places that are shit anyhow and all is fine.

We spent the day at https://www.casajondal.es/ this year and I think we paid maybe €20/30 each for the day for loungers. Pricey by our standards but a really great spot
