yup. I’m young enough to be spoiled by dubbed out Baldelli cosmic tapes, appeals to the sound system bass lover in me. No going back from there! Especially can’t stand William-Absolute-bloody Pitts - City Lights.

different lineages innit boss! Someone on here in the what don’t you get thread said they don’t get Loose Joints - Is it All over my Face, and coming from the London scene that is utterly inconceivable to me. If I went to ibiza in the 80s/early 90s I’d probably find not enough boogie and raw dirty funk to satisfy me, and nowhere near enough Jah Shaka, bass to make the walls quake!
Planning a few nights in Ibiza in June. Long weekend with a couple of mates.
Keen to hear your recommendations for decent hotels with a bit of character and a friendly vibe.

I’ve been going for 30yrs now and stayed all over and Cala Graco I find perfect now, stayed at Abrat last few times always great, on the west coast so sunshine all day and best sunset away from CDM and sunset strip you will find lots of trails and paths to hidden places and still in walking distance to San Antonio… People look down their noses at San An but with a little exploring its very easy to find some great local bars and restaurants away from the overpriced duck parade places… Hope this helps you a bit. And it’s great value without all the fakeness

CDM is 10 minutes walk to the left and hostel la Torre is 15 walk to the right up hill so few minutes in taxi

And it’s alot quitier part of the island to explore plenty it coves and beaches going north from there and less traffic compared to Ibiza Town, SE and all along the east coast

I’ve booked it. Looks perfect for our needs and I like the idea of exploring some beaches and coves in a different part of the island. And to finally get to La Torre. Something to look forward to in the misery of winter! Thanks again.

also some good restaurants and bars you would never hear of few minutes from the hotel… Better than most in San Antonio
Just saw the circo loco schedule for DC10 chaos in the CBD are the only ones that interest me… Definitely won’t be there. And prices are ridiculous as expected
Looks like I’ve got a slot poolside at Pikes Sept 8th. Not been over since 2019, will be trawling this thread for tips
