On that vein, let me also mention Tony Humphries’ remix of Leash Called Love. This has never ever failed me on a dance floor, it’s such a great track, and I make sure to play it all the way up until the awesome synth solo. Wrongly credited to Todd Terry on the release, this is Tony at his finest.

Large professor is so nice that he crushed this TWICE with beats that are evocative of totally different moods.
A 12 out of 10 vocal performance with a 6 out of 10 beat- Vinyl Reanimators handled that and then kind of disappeared.
Inescapable for an entire year.
Headphones, backpack, North Face and a box cutter 5 boro trooping soundtrack. You can’t even listen to the original after you hear this.
A grand master one-ups another, I wish I could have seen Showbiz’s face when Premier turned this in.
A career saver/sign of things to come.

Pete Rock remix of PE is fantastic.
