I don’t often like newer remixes of old tracks but this hits the spot for me:
Nephews Of Phela - Mulah 2
From what I hear this remix/ overdub version was just something done for the show, although I hear there are four Mad Professor remixes that were done for Sotofett lined up this year. Keep em peeled.

My love for the this remix has not diminished through the years
And this For three weeks I only had this song on a tape I had made by moving the built in mic on the boom box next to the tv while they played the video on Video Music Box. Didn’t give one fuck about how flat it sounded. I used to sit in the hallway at school between classes and play and rewind this.
Remix-related mystery: this song is credited to the Beatminerz but it’s not THE Beatminerz. When I became cool with Evil Dee I asked him if these guys were part of their extended family (a la Finsta or Rich Blak) but there’s no relationship whatsoever and after making this incredible song I don’t think these mystery Beatminerz ever did another song.
With you on that, not since B3TA for me (and that was a looooong time ago)
What a find, always thought the opening seconds of that song were a masterpiece
Yes to all of these and particularly Ain’t Nobody, an amazing rework
Just picked up a copy of this for the classic original but the Victor Rosado remix is 12+ mins of lush Disco perfection.
Always liked this DJ Sneak remix, not much of the original apart from a lil vocal sample, a hypnotic 12 minute House groove
Rayko has an impressive Archive…

The talk of Air on another thread reminded me of this remix which i loved back in’t day
