Aforementioned trip was with my mate who used to own Bond, pre ‘International’ days.

Supreme used to be great, spot on stuff before it all went ott. Was a couple of big auction houses in NYC doing auctions recently of all the stuff from trainers to boxing bags, prices were mad but lots didn’t sell. A million miles away from the skate’y early street vibes.

Yup great design, not many that don’t look like they were designed by someone called Isambard in the 19th century eh.

Exactly. The baroque versions just don’t cut it for me.

Came across this today. Never seen it before. Some lovely street skating and a killer soundtrack.

The new offering from Bill Strobeck for Supreme to commemorate the Milan store opening. Some great skating once you get beyond the strange homo-erotic-Larry-Clark-like 2 minute intro.

Am always having to tell the Milanese in our office to put their tops back on.

The Milanese in your office are equally unhappy with you removing your trousers at every opportunity.

Yeah it’s all very odd with that Larry Clarke vibe, still some good shots in it if not a bit forsed… But I’m an old fart now :frowning:

I met Pontus in Paris years ago when he skated for Cliche for a while, by all accounts he’s a difficult person to deal with so he started his own company Polar… And when I n search of the miraculous came out I sent some money and a picture to him and he sent back the dvd and some arty doodles he does on the thank you card… I have them somewhere here at home will dig them out tomorrow…

Cory Kennedy came out of nowhere with this video and blew up to the best in the business

Then 4or5 years ago killed a skate videographer while DUI, killing his friend and getting couple of years in jail, released few weeks ago and thank God moved back up home to the Washington area and just getting back into the groove with his old crew, I think Nike dropped him but fck them and has posted some videos and he looks good, smiling and having fun, lesson learnt i hope
