Keep ‘em coming. I’m loving all these videos and remembering those days.
There’s also something very satisfying about the sound of skateboard on concrete.

Watched that a couple of weeks ago. So funny that he started doing layouts for porn mags
Yeah I find the sounds incredibly soothing for some reason. Having spent most of my time street skating when I was younger I find it hard to get into using the ramps and banks on metal skate parks now. The solidness and low rumble of concrete beats the loud intrusive hollow sound of metal anyday.
The concrete pop is definitely more satisfying and I have always had a thing about the scraping sound an impossible makes.
Oh go on then…
One purely for the nostalgia fix, the 2011 Blind Video Days 20 year anniversary reunion.
Ooh I’ve not seen that. Cheers
I remember maybe '85 they had closed the old victorian swimming pool by the pier in Bournemouth. The diving platform end basically had a great big tiled half pipe. We spent an entire summer sneaking in and skating the crap out of that place. Bloody great memories.
More my generation, total legend, literally was on cloud 9 for days when he ‘liked’ an insta post I made.
It’s great to see Tony come full circle, and kind of turned into a skate community leader now.
Life well lived…
Good old Natas
That’s great. John Jacobs, 59 - Veteran Skater!
You watched the Steve Rocco/World Industries documentary?
Brilliant! That’s a tune too
Saw that recently. Real salt of the earth chap
Couldn’t figure out why the pop was nowhere to be seen then got a bit brave today and built up a bit of speed. Makes all the difference.
