Yeah new deal released all last year and some guest boards. I have the siamese in my folks house.
Yeah not very successful work wise today. All this skating chatter hasn’t helped and some new trainers arrived which always requires immediate unpacking and detailed analysis
Really tempted. Only the thought of a mid life crisis stopped me ordering the Templeton Cat deck
Definitely went down a rabbit hole today
At least we are not buying Harley’s and wearing leather
Haha, yeah defo not going to happen
Always been hopeless and terrified around skateboards, but a group of similarly aged mates of mine have got back into it over lockdown and have been loving it. So big up yourselves, sounds like a great thing physically, socially and mentally.
This video was a Game Changer. Saw the H-Street demo on a mini ramp and street set up in 1989 followed by the video premiere in a tiny room somewhere up north but can’t recall where. Whatever town it was they didn’t know what had hit them when the premier aftermath spilled onto the streets and everyone was skating like mad trying to recreate what they had just witnessed.
Remember getting excited seeing the FBI warning
Ha yeah, that was a blast from the past
My son practically lives up there these days…has been a total lifesaver for him over the lockdown.
He’s a bit too old now to have me in tow (bare embarrassing!), but seems like a pretty cool vibe whenever I have been up there, a great space
Enjoy!
I watched that over lunch - he’s very creative which is always good, but he does crouch down a lot (like ye olde Frankie Hill). Also, not sure about grabbing out of board slides (also like Frankie Hill), but I’m being pedantic.
Brilliant
Been to Crystal Palace quite a lot but never actually went into the skatepark. It’s always mobbed so hopefully will be a bit quieter early doors.
I recommend the Skateboard Magazine series ‘Raiders of the Archives’ - a celebration of skate ephemera, old deck graphics, etc
Right up my street, thanks
