I was the friday night resident at a house club that had a big Indie thursday night that i would cover sometimes during the period this record (Empire Of The Sun) came out. I really did try to push it on both nights and it rarely ever worked as well as i felt it should.
Always had a bit of a softspot for this track.
and this, even though it sounds like a t mobile advert to me now for some reason.
This, Love At First Sight, Slow and the obvious one.
This one dropped into a neo soul set always slays.
Because someone mentioned Kidz Bop, i had to share the amusing video of the cover of Kelly Clarkson. As the comment denotes, that kid’s face after the tiger jumps into the air to do the splits is worth the price of admission.

The 12" production and pressing of Need You Tonight is incredible. Played it at a party a few months ago and the clarity and punch was impressive and notably a notch above most other things in my bag
