Oooh you smell nice!

Thank you for the tip. Must check it out…

Just ordered myself Gentleman Givenchy Reserve Privee based on your tip and also bagged myself a small bottle of Tom Ford Tobacco Vanille. Looking forward to trying them out

Lovely stuff. I’d be interested to know what you think.

If I could only perfect that ‘vinyl record’ accord :).

My favorite one, which I still have and is on fumes is the old Polo Explorer, which was discontinued, sadly, as I’d love to get me another bottle or 3:

The new Gucci guilty elixir is supposed to be a great cheaper alternative to Amouage Reflection Man for those of you that are into that

It’s really nice and definitely in the same ballpark as Reflection Man. It’s got a bit more richness and heft to it than RM imo.

White Florals with a bit of spice.

It’s a lot cheaper than RM for sure, but at 60ml I would have expected it to be sub £100.

I’m going to have a clear out to fund myself some reflection 45 I think, I’ve not found many other fragrances that I like more than that

Have you tried meant of these? I’ve just won a discovery box of them and never heard of the house before tbh

Yeah that’s on my wants too. I’d say the Gucci is somewhere between the two.

Really enjoying the Interlude 53 extrait as well. A lot smoother than the OG. The oregano has been dialled down thankfully.

New Jubi 40 dropped recently too. Cannot wait to try that.

I’ve tried the Bianco Latte. It’s a gourmand lovers wet dream. Very nice.

I’d be interested to hear your opinions on the sample set.

Yeah I’ve just landed a bottle of the standard jubi and I’m enjoying it, especially in the cold

Had a rogue discovery box as a gift recently which is a really interesting house. Lots of interesting stuff, all seem to use lots of naturals

Will report back when it arrives

Rogue is a great house too. I’ve had a few of them. The owner Manuel Cross makes small privately produced batches and doesn’t really care much for IFRA regulations as far as I can see.

Monsieur and Fougere L’Aube are my favourites. Mousse Illuminee seems to be the best seller. I liked it to start with, but after a while I couldn’t shake off this strange cabbage type note. It’s very ‘Polo Green’.

I’m a big fan of Angel Share so that sounds promising

My aged / oldish ( pre Covid) Tom Ford & Creed are on way out so have asked for a new creed - xcited!
Have a ‘client lunch’ in Canary Wharf & then meeting friends for drinks so apart from going to Phonica & SotU may go do a smell test run

Sounds and a sniff! Perfect.

Any particular Creed interest you?
