Remember going to this, July 1994, was in the queue at 8:30!

I bumped into Collin Patterson last year, putting some tunes on at a mate’s 60th - he’s still got it!

Some names to remember there… Feel like I used to send up watching System 7 somewhere random every year at Glastonbury

They were giving away the first Muzik (where this came from). Remember a bit of Krust and Kenny Ken. Not much in between. Carl Cox on an outdoor stage at some point!

Used to pop in to see Trevor Madhatter Nelson often as worked over the road on TCR, later on Jazzy B’s brother Ed used to do all our repro. Only went to the Africa Centre once, kicked off outside after and put me off going back. Back to Life really did change the world.

Was this the one near Oxford? The hottest May bank holiday weekend since last week I reckon. The queue to get out of the car park the next morning took bloody hours!

Think this pic of me was taken there

When lush was the proper place! That sound system. Stephen porter I’m sure has said it was one of the best systems and mixers (a&h) royalty he’s ever used.

They did the 12 Step recovery programme and turned their lives around so now they’re Mutton On Mineral Water.

If you zoom right in, you can see a poster advertising an early gig for The Wild Bunch, supporting Chakk for Artists Against Apartheid.

Would’ve been getting to know Stephen and Debbie porter around this time too via the lush message board. We went up to Derry a few times for his inertia nights. Lovely people and still throwing good parties up there, fair to play him!
