Anyone go here? Only went once I think. Karminsky experience in the back room was well ahead of its time with easy listening / soundtrack stuff. Don’t know if it happened every week but there was also a naked man dancing on stage for a bit.

Picked my daughter up from Reading festival Sunday night. I may be biased, but £325 for this
versus £80 (including parking) for this in 2000
It’s no contest, is it? Even with inflation, that would only be a ticket price of £160 today. It’s all gone horribly wrong.

Picked my daughter up Sunday morning! She said on the way back “all the boys in our group were on Gary’s”…I said what are these Gary’s then? “Just drugs that makes them feel really great then really depressed after.” Quite amazed that 17yos are still using the word “Gary’s”!

My daughter has been having a summer of festivals. Sonar → Outlook → Boomtown → WOH → Lost Village. Along the way I had the watershed moment of her sharing a video of herself clearly on a “pinger” in the family WhatsApp group.
When challenged she claimed to have only “had a nibble”.
