On Thursday 11 June 1986 we threw this party in Nottingham - a benefit for striking printworkers with our local hero @graemepark playing the music at the Barracuda club, hosted by the inimitable James Baillie @houseofbaxtergrooming Handcut stencil screenprint poster by me, a homage to Trouble Funk sleeve artwork. Funk the election!

Came across this Smash Hits review of Talk Talk’s 1986 concert on the excellent Like Punk Never Happened archive. Elegant balance between the flippant observations of the group’s appearance and nailing the essence of what they were working to achieve. (Sorry the type’s quite small in the image…)
