Set adrift…
Market is nuts at the moment, due to no work I sold all mine recently, FB eBay etc, managed to get north of £700 in total for about 250 of them, Shoom and Spectrum ones were best performers, just sat in a folder so seemed crazy not to let them go.
Radio charts from the Source. Found by a friend in the offices of Tommy Boy when it was closing down and gifted to me. Songs lined in high-liter are Tommy Boy releases.
One of a zillion tip sheets passed on to me by my friend Jonny. These were often thrown in for free when he was buying collections for his shop. I put these on my now dormant tumblr that got unexpectedly very popular with like 16 year old ASAP Rocky fans and became the bane of my existence.
Never been to Detroit, found this amongst the flyers in Vinyl Exchange in Manchester in the mid 90s i think
Here’s some flyers from the Blackburn warehouse scene circa 89-91.
If anyone’s interested in reading more about the Blackburn scene, highly recommend checking out this website - https://www.acidhouseflashback.co.uk/ Its an archive created by the people who were involved. The audio interviews in particular are fantastic, ranging from ravers and promoters who were there, to the police and owners of the mills. Some amazing anecdotes, its a wonder anyone got out alive.
