Very, full on ravetastic.
I just came across a poster from a club tour I was involved in back in 1994 - The Velvet Revolution - spreading awareness of the then imminent Crminal Justice Bill.
Put together with backing from Charter 88, Liberty and part funded by the Levellers of all people, it featured Dub Warriors, Tribal Drift, LS Diesel and various soundsystem DJs throughout, plus occasional appearances from many others incl Billy Bragg, Dreadzone, Smokin’ Jo and Digs & Whoosh from DIY.
It was a full production tour featuring incredible mutoid-esque 3D moving sculptures by Circus Irritant, mostly calling at Uni venues although we did get to take over the Hacienda, Megatripolis at Heaven, Plymouth Warehouse (Club Oz) and ended up with an incredible sold out finale at the 1500 capacity Q Club in Birmingham.
The highlight of each night was 30+ of us, in full riot police gear, raiding the venue mid-gig and temporarily closing it down!
Theres very little left on the web about the tour, but here’s a few links to reviews and photostories, the last one is a gallery with lots of the sculptures and some of us in riot gear

Forgot all about Trace, used to have a few back issues, probably lost in a house move.
I grew up with Brisk, lived with and worked for Stu J at Movement Records and had some legendary sessions at Aubreys flat in Portsmouth.
Harvey was doing Moist by this time?
Yeah, I guess so.
If you clubbed in the north east early to mid nineties this should bring back some memories.
On a different note, I’m assuming coaches to other clubs are not a thing anymore. Great fun back in the day, basically an afters on wheels!
& a before pre club on wheels
I went on one where they did a pill raffle.
Surely should have been Bingo so you could shout HOUSE when you’d won.
Adonis plays an under 18s club in Kidderminster
Do you think its like the one in the Inbetweeneers when Will gets beaten up
This is incredible
Seeing as it St Patrick’s day. Black was a Sunday night party by David Holmes in Belfast. Probably late 90’s, I can’t remember the exact year.

Wondering if one of Graeme’s 1st spots there, weird he is named as Steamer rather than Garage but it was more Acid & Sheffield nearer
Edit, I sent to Solid State who remembers it was a swap night, he went to Steamer with Mike Pickering whilst Graeme played the Hac
Apols for not noticing it didnt say GP (Steamer) as it was a Steamer night at the Hac, thanks for your forgiveness
