Stinking cold. Trying to get into the Digitakt II. Forgot how good the OTO BOUM is end of chain. The drive is beautiful, and taking the edge off the highs with the filter and a little bit of parallel compression. I’ve fallen in love all over again!

Sounds great, really getting into my DTII, just need to get that new Mac so I can use Overbridge.

Yeah I’ve had a quick play around with Overbridge. Seems quite finicky to get working, all the stars need to be aligned!

I went down a total rabbit hole recently. I sold a few unused pedals and was really set on getting a nice delay to sit on send/return with the proceeds.
I was 99% all in on the Erica Synths Zen Delay then started to read a few Reddit posts with people saying they’d sold it on in favour of other things, based mainly on some resonant frequency issues when in one of the delay modes.
Quite a few people were enthusing about the OTO BIM delay. I’ve already got the OTO BOUM warming/compression unit and whilst I’m not a huge fan of the UI, it does sound great.
I got a really good deal on a mint second hand BIM last week and today’s the first day I’ve had to play around with it. Wow. Blown away! It’s got a real character of its own. This is just a quick test using a simple Digitakt II pattern through it as a send/return. Definitely has a vibe!

It def adds a nice gritty 12-bit flavour. Not trying to be an OTO pusher but the reverb is v nice as well. I’ve been eyeing-up their pink mixer - have zero need for it but have really liked BIM BAM and BOUM.
Shame about the UI - the knobs are great but the lights are a head scratcher unless you use them all the time.

A mate has the Bebie Cherie mixer, he really likes it. The tilt EQ sounds like a useful function.
That’s cool - It sounds v nice in the clip. Do you not rate the UAD reverb plug-in’s with the Apollo?

Yeah I do like the UA plugins but it’s nice to have something when I’m jamming away from the computer!
