I know what you mean although i caught the end of Coldplay last night and I put cynicism aside as i thought it looked an incredible show. Chris Martin seems to be a decent bloke or at least l like to think so

Disco masterclass by FK in nyc downlow yesterday afternoon. Tried to go in with the fam but after passing the first two hurdles got knocked back at final one by a concerned sailor worried that the dark room at the back made this an unsuitable place for teenagers 
. Managed to ditch them outside and snuck back with a mate! Couldn’t stay for the whole set but loads of classics, peerlessly weaved in and out. It was absolutely rocking mid afternoon. Sound system crystal clear. The Prince Language edit of Harold Melvin don’t leave me this way sounded amazing

We ended up watching Coldplay after little Simz. And, having always been very cynical and judgmental about them, I was pretty impressed. They put on a real show and if you cut out his annoying singing there were some instrumental sections which were pretty good. More enjoyable than I expected

Caught a bit of that last night. Was all very bizarre. I have a deep dislike of all things Coldplay but have to admit they seemed to put on quite a spectacle

Just watched she had no band no backing singers just singing to a backing track on the pyramid stage. 
The streets looked like it had great energy from the off!
The bit where they played in the middle of a hushed crowd was impressive

nothing I’ve seen made me wish I was amongst the flagwaving tits, though Skinner and LCD did look fun
