I’m just relieved that Oxford United managed to survive their first season in the Championship. It’s a tough old league.
So good. Feel like we’ve put some ghosts to rest.
Let the blues enjoy that. Nothing else to celebrate since 1995.
It’s not even real. AI generated if you zoom in. Bless their bitter hearts!
Championship is the best league around but the one everyone wants to get out of. My team fluffed their lines again
Amazing, never thought a week away end of April would mean missing it but last 2 months it was clear I would. Spoke to my lot earlier, it was sounding unreal.
Amazing scenes
Still drunk.
Happy for L’pool since the missus is a fan but from where I’m sitting it was over months ago so felt a bit anti climatic
What about Wrexham. Three promotions on the spin, wow. Think they are going to need more than TV and movie star money to do it again though
What about Barnet, back in the Football League? Big celebrations round here over the weekend.
Mind you it’s all about the Watford Friendly League U15 cup final on May 11th as far as I’m concerned !
Winning the league by scoring 5 at Anfield feels far from anti climactic from where I’m sitting. 2 celebrations (incl. covid season) in 1. Huge day for the club, the fanbase and the city.
No I know I get that. I just mean it was a foregone conclusion, never really in doubt was it.
I half expected Klopp to be there yesterday, do you think he’ll show up for the trophy presentation?
He’s definitely coming to the final game against Palace and the presentation on that day.
I watch a lot of championship football because of how easy it is to get on TV here in the US. I really enjoy the anyone can beat anyone nature of it all and extraordinary when you think how diverse the budgets are. Plymouth were dead and buried and will probably go dorm on goal difference now. You wouldn’t know by watching them that they’re going down.
I’ve got no interest in the circus that is Wrexham as I’m a Stockport fan. Good riddance to them.
We can still get promoted via the play offs but I really don’t fancy the Championship, we’re not ready for it. The finances required are vast and we’ve still got to develop our ground. I’m more than happy in league one.
That said, I want us to win games and be successful, so if we do win the play offs then que sera, sera.
If Villa hadn’t pulled Louie Barry when they did you’d be celebrating automatic promotion this weekend.
Louie’s a great player and was superb for us but we were too reliant on him, we play as a team now.
Argyle not so lucky. Might have been different if they’d binned Rooney a bit sooner:(
I’m Orient, so see you on Saturday. Still pinching myself that we made it.
