Was interesting hearing all my Scottish relatives take on the England performance. They all think Southgate leaving is a positive step to pushing them to their full potential.

Took my 6yo to her first game today, a derby between our local team FC United of Manchester and Ashton Utd, good atmosphere and a decent game which she seemed to enjoy or at least not get too bored by.
We didnāt get to see a home win though, Ashton ran out 2-1 winners in the end despite a bit of late pressure from FCU.
Good news is she wants to go again.

Tuchel is the new England Manager. Interesting. Totally ironic if the missing piece for English football is a German manager. Good luck to him. I reckon heās a decent choice.
Probably the best choice from who is available. If he doesnt start well I can see it turning toxic very quicky and if Pep leaves City next year the FA will have an expensive decision to make

Proper grass roots day today. 8am pitch inspection. Game on. Get the nets and flags and set the pitch up. Remove dog mess from pitch. Starts pissing down. Tough County Cup game with opponentsā linesman giving two of our goals offside. Have to fetch the match ball out of a river after it was booted off. End up being 1-2 down then equalise in the last 30 seconds. Straight to pens. Win the shootout 4-3. It hasnāt stopped pissing down. Love it.
