Few friends from here are going over tomorrow for the Liverpool game… They were buzzing about it yesterday
Im quite edgy about it, our lot look so far away from previous that anything could happen. Can’t string 2 performances together.
The easiest 2 - 0 you’ll ever see. Only one team in the game. The financial gap may be big, but we didn’t compete at all. Players unable to pass a ball. I expect to lose at this level, but this team have regressed massively - too many look well off the pace.
I think it will be a tougher night for us next week but expecting another win.

Easily I would expect. We look so far off the pace. And this is in domestic games as well.

I switched off after the 3rd, couldn’t subject myself to anymore. In all seriousness a gulf like that can’t be good for game as a whole. May as well go straight to the final Real Madrid v A N Premier League team.

That result is closer to the reality of the gulf between the teams tbh. The best possible situation is finishing 3rd and getting a run in the Europa. Just look at the quality Liverpool could bring off the bench!
Our squad cost less than most Liverpool players.
That said, it’s no different than the gulf between us and Celtic domestically.

Mainly agony at the moment 
Horrible afternoon. Couple of Forest lads put a flag out about Hillsborough very good. Then they all start about 97 not being enough murderers always the victims sign on etc etc. Im so fucking tired of it . Every fucking ground.
Liverpool have an unusual position in that respect. They’re the darlings of the tv media, which is of course the main platform for football. They have held sway over Sky and BBC punditry/commentary for decades.
However, they are disliked widely by fans of other football teams, hence the awful chants you have to endure etc. I saw this on the (fantasy) football forums I frequent, particularly during their title-winning season. Maybe it’s partly brought on by Liverpool fans’ own attitudes. There is such a gulf between how they perceive themselves and how others do.

Absolutely. So much about football fans’ behaviour is abhorrent.
The problem is there are a lot of people who go to games not for the game but to get all of their bigotry, racism and hatred out in a relatively safe space. The media has stoked a lot of it and there’s very little humor anymore.

Im a Forest fan & think its really shit, I saw someone had put stickers up that referenced Sun being correct. FFS
Their is rivalry & then there is that sort, makes me realise why I hated football mid 80s because of all the knobs in our town
Throwing a sheeps head into a Derby fans pub ( doing 2 simultaneous) is on the right side of the grey area!
